Example of why technology journalists frustrate me

Source Article: http://www.infoworld.com/article/2984264/technology-business/expect-a-lull-in-cool-tech-from-microsoft-apple-and-the-rest.html

“Windows Server 2016 and some of the other on-premises server tools are going live (including Exchange 2016 and SharePoint 2016) with improvements to stability and performance, as well as a new feature here or there, but nothing mind-blowing.”

Could this tech journalist be any more wrong? The server tooling coming out of Redmond is next-gen in every way possible! The under-the-hood innovations at the core of Windows are significant. Just because we don’t necessarily see some shiny new UI option or whatever doesn’t mean the industry has “slowed down”.

If you are wondering what is changing in the server tooling space maybe read – https://rainesy.com/windows-server-2016-new-features-innovations-what-you-should-pay-attention-too/.

Technology writers frustrate me at the best of times and this post from what I would consider a some-what reputable source should have done better. Editors take note, don’t let these rubbish articles see the light of day.
